Lessons and Dress Code


Students will be required to wear a specific dance outfit to class. This outfit may possibly be used for the Recital. A uniform will promote a non-competitive atmosphere and ease of movement.

Step
Level I:
• short sleeve royal blue nylon leotard
• matching rolyal blue skirt
• black cotton dance tights
• black tap shoes
Level II:
• short sleeve royal blue nylon leotard(same as level I)
• matching royal blue skirt

Level III:

Pre-Primary Ballet:
• tank lilac nylon leotard

Primary:
• tank pink pinchfront cotton leotard

• pink ballet slippers
Teen/Adult:
• camisole or tank black leotard
• ballet pink footed or adapt-a-toe dance tights

• pointe shoes upon approval of teacher
* All ballet students must have hair pulled back away from face and in a bun

Tap
Level I:
• leotard (color TBA)
• black jazz pants or dance skirt
• black tap shoes
Level II & III:
• tank or camisole leotard (color TBA)
• black jazz pants or dance skirt
• black tap shoes

Hip Hop/Jazz/Lyrical/Theatre

  black jazz shoes for hiphop and theatre
• beige jazz shoes and light tan dance tights for jazz, lyrical and Performance Group
• black jazz pants and any color leotard/dance clothing for all classes/levels
• no jeans, cords, or other restrictive streetwear
