Maureen
Fraser - Step, Tap, Hip-Hop
Maureen has been teaching
dance for over 20 years. She began taking lessons in early childhood
and continues to the present day attending seminars and workshops.
Recently she has studied tap privately with Josh Hilberman(tap
teacher at the Boston Conservatory)and Heather Cornell(director of
Manhattan Tap). As well as having a week long private tap residency
in 2007 with Heather, Maureen travelled to New York again in 2010 for
a two week Rythmn Intensive Workshop taught by Heather. Maureen was
selected as the only Canadian to participate in the group of 20 tap
dancers from Brazil, England, Russian, Denmark, etc. Maureen has
stepdanced in various concerts throughout the Maritimes (Breakfast
Television on the ASN television network) and has adjudicated step
festivals in PEI. Most recently, stepdancing in Celtic Colors 2008
with Mary Janet MacDonald, Minnie MacMaster and Jean MacNeil in a
concert called 'Mary Janet's Bunch'. Maureen will be stepdancing in
Celtic Colours 2010 "Close to the Floor" show. Maureen has earned her
teaching diploma in step (Members) and stage/tap (Associates) from
BATD. Currently, Maureen teaches step, tap musical theatre and
performance group.

Rebecca
Paruch - Ballet and Jazz
Rebecca began dancing with
Cape Breton School of the Arts when she was two years old, taking
ballet, tap, and jazz. At the age of six Rebecca began highland
dancing with the Forrester School of Celtic Dance and when she was
thirteen, joined Northside Dance as well for ballet, jazz, and
lyrical. In 2007 Rebecca began dancing with Kelly MacArthur, and
became a member of her dance troupe, the Cape Land Dance Company.
Over the past sixteen years she has taken exams from the ADAPT
syllabus for ballet, tap, and jazz, and completed many of the SDTA
exams for highland. Rebecca has taken part in numerous highland dance
competitions, winning many medals and several high aggregate
trophies, as well as competing in the Millennium Dance Festival.
Rebecca has taken workshops with well known choreographers, such as
Ryan Foley, Cicely and Olisa, Kameron Bink, and Sabra Johnson. She
continues to take advantage of these opportunities and will be
competing at Dance Quest in Saint John in the fall 2009.

Amey Rahey -
Ballet and Hiphop
Amey began dancing with Dance
Sync Inc. when she was eight years old. She has trained in numerous
styles such as contemporary, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, etc. At the age
of thirteen she began attending such workshops as The Pulse On Tour,
Coastal Dance Rage, and JUMP where she has taken classes with
choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Stacey Tookey, Wade Robson,
Bobby Newberry, and Dave Scott. Also at the age of thirteen, Amey
began choreographing award-winning routines for her dance studio.
Amey has received many medals and high-mark trophies for both her
choreography and for her performances at competitions across the
maritimes. Recently, she was asked to represent Team Canada's
jazz/modern team in Poland this year, and has received a VIP finalist
scholarship from JUMP. She continues to attend as many conventions
and workshops as she can to fulfill her desire to improve.

Eilidh Kyte
- Ballet and Hiphop
Eilidh Kyte has been dancing
for a most of her life. She began with ballet at a small dance studio
in her hometown of Belleville, Ontario. She soon expanded into other
styles: jazz, modern, lyrical, flamenco and contemporary dance. At
the age of 13 she was accepted into the professional training
programme at the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, where she became
quite serious about her ballet training and technique, while
continuing with other forms. During 14 years of dancing Eilidh has
received training in RAD, Cecchetti, BATD and the Vaganova method.
She recently graduated from the Quinte Ballet School.
